Renewals & Recertification

Renewals apply to current CSPs who wish to extend the credential another 2 years. 

Recertification refers to those who may have been CSPs at one time but their credential has lapsed and the individual would like to become certified as a CSP again.  In such cases, the individual must meet the current CSP criteria, including passing the current CSP exam.  Please click here for the current certification requirements.

Renewals


The Certified Specialist in Psychometry (CSP) designation is conferred for a period of two (2) years upon all who meet the certification requirements.

 

2006 CSPs:                   The deadline is 12/31/2008.

2007 + 2005 CSPs:     The deadline is 12/31/2009.

2008 + 2006 CSPs:     The deadline is 12/31/2010.

  1. 12 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU) - every two years
    (Please note: Attending one NAP conference means you have earned 12 CEUs total, but only ONE (1) CEU in Ethics, which means you are required to obtain an additional 1 CEU in Ethics)

  2. Biennial renewal fee of $50.00 (USD)
  3. Exam Item Submission

It is the responsibility of each CSP to renew on time as well as update/maintain their contact information to the BCP.   Failure to meet the requirements will result in the CSP designation being suspended &/or revoked.
